Star Closet is a mobile application based on fashion big data. It interprets fashion with technology and democratizes fashion—fashion directly guides mass consumption, and the masses consume fashion accurately and easily.
For users, Star Closet is a fashion magazine where fashion items can be purchased online, a personalized online shopping channel for global trendy products, and a fashion shopping mall.
Application scenarios:
Every day, we see what celebrities and fashion icons wear (street snaps or videos) online, in magazines, in films and TV series, and in variety shows... and immediately feel the urge to buy, wanting to get the items right away to follow their style.
Star Closet fulfills this wish for girls:
1. When you see a celebrity wearing a certain item, it provides multiple shopping leads, including identical and similar styles, guiding you to purchase the clothes shown in the images.
2. Every garment automatically generates matching outfit suggestions, and even shows which celebrities or fashion icons have worn such outfits, allowing you to visualize the styling effect.
Implementation method:
Star Closet has found a way to automatically interpret and correlate fashion data, achieving an effective connection between fashion and mass consumption—this is the innovative "Fashion DNA System," which structures unstructured fashion data and then builds a fashion shopping application on the foundation of fashion big data.
Development status:
Star Closet officially launched in August 2012. Within just over a year, it rapidly accumulated 20 million high-quality female users, with an average of over 1.5 million daily active users.
We have already received investments from two well-known venture capital firms.
Our goal:
Within 3-5 years, to develop Star Closet into a true fashion shopping gateway that connects online and offline channels.
