Wanda Department Store was established on May 8, 2007, and is one of the four pillar industries (commercial real estate, luxury hotels, cultural tourism, and chain department stores) under Dalian Wanda Group, a leading commercial real estate enterprise in China. By the end of 2012, Wanda Department Store had 57 stores. As of December 23, 2013, Wanda Department Store had opened 75 stores in Beijing, Shanghai, Wuhan, Chengdu, and other cities, making it one of the largest chain department store enterprises in China.
