Want Want Group was established in 1962, formerly known as Yilan Food Industry Co., Ltd. The Want Want brand was founded in Taiwan in 1983, and the company invested in manufacturing facilities in Mainland China in the early 1990s. As of the end of 2015, the group had established 37 production bases and over 300 sales offices across the country, with a total workforce of approximately 60,000 employees. China Want Want Holdings Limited, a food and beverage company, is listed on the Main Board of the Hong Kong Stock Exchange and is currently a constituent stock of the Hang Seng Index.
