Chongqing Kangyou Electromechanical Manufacturing Factory (*) was established on December 29, 2005. The enterprise mainly deals in fiberglass insulation products for 110kV, 220kV, and 500kV ultra-high-voltage distribution transformers and large motors. It is the world's largest professional manufacturer of fiberglass insulation parts for ultra-high-voltage large transformers. Currently, in addition to meeting the needs of the highest-voltage backbone networks (500,000-volt transformers) that have been put into batch use both domestically and internationally, the products also serve enterprises designated by the National Development and Reform Commission for the development of extra-high and ultra-high voltage equipment: among them, it develops fiberglass insulation products for transformers with the world's highest voltages of 750,000 volts, 1,000,000 volts, and 1,200,000 volts in support of China XD Group; at present, 70% of the enterprise's products are supplied to Asian regional enterprises under Sweden's ABB Group, including Chongqing ABB Transformer Co., Ltd., Datong ABB Traction Transformer Co., Ltd., Hefei ABB Transformer Co., Ltd., Zhongshan ABB Transformer Co., Ltd., ABB Vietnam, and ABB Thailand; 20% of the products are supplied to large domestic backbone enterprises such as Zhejiang Sanbian Technology Co., Ltd., Weidmann Electrical Insulation Technology Co., Ltd., Taizhou Xinyuan Electrical Equipment Co., Ltd., Shandong Luneng Taishan Power Equipment Co., Ltd., State Grid China Electric Power Technology Equipment Co., Ltd., China XD Group, TBEA Group, Chongqing Water Turbine Works, and Dongfang Electric Machinery Works; it is also engaged in close cooperation with State Grid China Electric Power Technology Equipment Co., Ltd. Due to the need to expand production, the factory has been relocated as a whole from Jiulongpo District to Tongliang Industrial Park, and all employees are provided with accommodation and lunch.
