Principal Duties & Responsibilities:

•3D models, 2D drawings, Bill of Material, release / change parts BOMs in ERP system, complying with global design standards.
•Continuous product improvement fglobal products, designs that consider all product variation within the Engineer Change Requests (ECR) minimize part count/product cost.
•Coordinate manage the partners/contractors to finish the ECRs.
•Lead design concept test activities to validate the design, prepare the test report, need travel periodically to BAC manufacturing plant when concept built tested.
•maintenance engineering documents, such as assembly reference drawing, rigging & assembly manual, operation & maintenance manual.
•Participate in the cost of items analysis execution.
•Provide technical support internally externally fCustomer, Sales, Marketing, Application, Manufacturing Warrant Services. It may need occasional travel within short period domestically abroad.
Requirements：

•Good speaking & writing English. Can participate in English conference call with global team.
•Proficiency in 3D modeling software. (Such as Inventor, Pro-E, SolidWorks, UG, etc., Inventis preferred.)
•Proficiency with 2D AutoCAD (equivalent).
•Autodesk Inventor/Vault experience is a plus.
•Experience of sheet metal design, how it pertains to manufacturability on sheet metal fabrication equipment (NC, Brake, Laser, etc.)
•Thorough understanding of manufacturing capabilities in sheet metal parts assembly lines.
•Proficiency with Excel.
•DFMA design (design fmanufacturing & assembly)
•Ability to interpret market-based requirements (from a project specification other sources) develop designs to meet those needs with minimal iterations; understthe details inherent in such requirement.
•Problem solving, able to identify potential design failure, able to design execute the verification plan.
•Basic knowledge of engineering mechanics.
•ERP system working experience is a plus.
•Patent application experience is a plus.
•Highly variable product design is a plus.
•HVAC experience is a plus.
