Founded in 1983, Wens Foodstuff Group Co., Ltd. is a modern large-scale animal husbandry enterprise group that is diversified, cross-industry, and cross-regional, focusing on chicken and pig farming, and also engaged in biopharmaceuticals and food processing. It has built over 160 integrated companies in 23 provinces (municipalities and autonomous regions) across the country, including Guangdong Province. In 2012, the group listed 865 million meat chickens, 8.139 million pigs, 14.37 million meat ducks, and produced 7.395 million tons of feed. The group's sales revenue reached 33.5 billion yuan. The group currently has over 30,000 employees, including more than 5,700 intellectuals with college degrees or above, among whom over 40 have doctoral degrees and over 260 have master's degrees.
