Qunzhi Optoelectronics is regarded as a global pioneer in the development of low-temperature poly-silicon (LTPS) and AMOLED TFT LCD panel manufacturing technology. Qunzhi Optoelectronics (Nanjing) Co., Ltd. was established on May 23, 2001, and is China's first mass-production professional manufacturer of LTPS TFT LCD panels. Qunzhi Optoelectronics is located at No. 93 Focheng West Road, IT Science Park, Jiangning Development Zone, Nanjing. Fab 1 (FAB1) began mass production in May 2003, primarily using 3.5-generation glass substrates (620mm x 750mm) to produce small and medium-sized LTPS TFT-LCD products. The Nanjing plant currently covers an area of 1,522 mu and has 14,000 employees. Fab 2 (FAB2) officially commenced production in April 2008, making Qunzhi Optoelectronics more competitive globally.
