Responsibilities:
1. To maintain engineering information fvarious manufacturing processes (process cards, in-process prints, work instructions, etc.).
2. Assist operations personnel with daily process & product problem solving. Strive to identify correct the root cause of such problems instead of continuing to address the reoccurring issue. Assist other Timken plants/businesses as requested by your manager.
3. To participate manage process improvement projects. Identify, prioritize, execute opportunities fthe improvement of quality, throughput, machine efficiency, labproductivity, cost, etc. Utilize fact based analysis, data mining, lean-6-sigma skills to achieve this. Note: project work also includes the specification, selection, run-off, installation, introduction of new processes &equipment.Measure projects to assure effectiveness during after completion. Provide corrective action plans if projects are failing to perform as expected.
4. Assure manufacturing engineering processes are documented understood to provide standard consistent application of work methods procedures (e.g. maintain engineering data systems, operating manuals, training material, PM procedures, engineering procedures).
5. Interact with operations quality department to assure conformance to all ISO requirements. Assure all processes being performed are within Timken governmental policies, specifications, regulations, laws. Keep company product process information confidential secure.
6. Complete other tasks assigned by Manager.
Qualification:
1. Bacheldegree above in mechanical engineering, industrial engineering similar.
2. Good atal written English Chinese, familiar with UG, Auto CAD other general software.
3. Good bearing manufacturing theoretical knowledge.
4. Basic lean production knowledge.
5. Good Project management skills communication skills.
