About this opportunity
The Supply Chain Specialist position is an experienced Logistician with sound SAP Operational knowledge – covering International Shipping, Brokerage, Warehousing Domestic Distribution in a multi-carrier environment. Based in Chengdu, this position is required to support rapid Invisalign growth in the APAC markets deliver continuous improvement flocal network optimization, distribution cost lead-time reduction, collaboration with Global Regional Logistics Custom Affairs teams to harmonize processes support projects implementation products roll-out.
In this role, you will…
Partner Global Regional teams to manage operations fulfilment of Invisalign Ancillary materials to meet customers’ demand
Manage contract supplier relationship with local Logistics Service Providers covering brokerage, warehousing domestic distribution
Oversee forecasting coordination with supply sources ftimely replenishment of Invisalign Ancillary materials
Enforce strong inventory control distribution records in SAP system as well as keeping proper records of all forms of transactions relating to the company’s logistics transactions
Monitmanage freight logistics partners’ performance fshipping, brokerage, warehousing domestic distribution
Resolve shipping distribution related issues feedback with systematic Root Cause Analysis (RCA) Corrective Actions - Preventive Actions (CAPA) Plan
Support rapid Invisalign business growth in APAC markets deliver improvement initiatives to optimize network, operations processes with objectives of (a) reducing cost, (b) shortening fulfillment lead-time, (c) enhancing customer experience
Support Global Regional projects pertaining to SAP Systems Implementation-Customization-Enhancement, Go-To-Market Strategy, Regulatory Compliance & Audit, etc.
Gate-keep all import export activities to ensure trade compliance attend to customs queries audits
Provide guidance to other functions (such as marketing) on logistics related matters to enhance efficiency of operations (e.g. distribution of point-of-sales materials)
In this role, you’ll need …
Fluency in English
BA/BS degree in Business Management, Logistics Supply Chain equivalent practical experience
4-6 years of experience in the logistics industry in a similar role managing logistics service providers in a multi-carrier environment
In-depth understanding of Supply Chain processes including International Shipping, Brokerage, Contract Logistics, Inventory Management Domestic Transportation in APAC markets
Ability to manage competing priorities provide a high level of responsiveness across multiple stakeholders
Demonstrated proficiency with MS Office, including Excel, analyzing manipulating datasets through formulas macros
Knowledge hands-on experience of SAP system is essential
Exposure to Medical Device sect(particularly Dental &thodontics) is preferred
Critical thinking, analytical decision-making skills with attention to detail
Ability to collaborate with different functional teams across theganization
Pro-active, willing-to-learn attitude “roll up sleeves” to accomplish all necessary tasks
