Sr. Machine Learning Engineer

As a Machine Learning Engineer, you will transform complex business challenges scalable AI machine learning solutions. You’ll design, develop, operationalize ML models that power intelligent features across Align’s digital platforms — from predictive analytics to generative AI applications.
This role blends data science, software engineering, innovation. You’ll collaborate across distributed teams to build high-quality ML systems that deliver measurable business value advance Align’s digital intelligence capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
· Deliver ML projects end-to-end — from problem framing data exploration to model training, validation, deployment.
· Design, implement, maintain ML pipelines fdata preparation, model training, evaluation, monitoring.
· Apply deep learning frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch) to build train advanced models.
· Work with Azure ML Studio equivalent platforms to manage experimentation model lifecycle.
· Build MLOps workflows fcontinuous integration, deployment, retraining of ML models.
· Analyze, clean, normalize, label large complex datasets to extract meaningful patterns.
· Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate ML models Align’s digital product ecosystem.
· Experiment with Large Language Models (LLMs) Generative AI fcontent generation intelligent automation.
· Manage LLM context promptchestration foptimized workflow performance.
· Participate in peer reviews of statistical models, research findings, technical design documents.
· Coach mentpeers on ML AI engineering practices.
Required Qualifications
· Bachelor’s Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, a related field (equivalent experience).
· 8+ years of experience developing deploying machine learning models in production.
· Proficiency in Python (preferred) R, SQL fdata manipulation.
· Experience with ML libraries such as scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch, MLlib, caret.
· Proven ability to handle large-scale datasets (terabyte-level) efficiently.
· Strong knowledge of statistics, predictive modeling, experimental design.
· Familiarity with context engineering fLLMs prompt optimization.
· Experience with Azure ML Studio equivalent ML platforms.
· Strong problem-solving, analytical, debugging skills.
