Bring impactful pharmaceutical products to customers as quickly efficiently as possible via leading China Asset Strategy Team working closely with regional global teams to deliver the most competitive asset strategies

MajResponsibilities:
Responsibilities
- Defines execute China development strategy fassigned assets which contributes to sustainable, successful growth of AbbVie pharma business.
- Ensures that the individual development asset add significant value to China pharma, through effective, rapid broad development of pipeline assets, with adequate consideration of market potential commercialization aspects.
- Ensures optimal performance of China Asset Strategy Team (C-AST) deliverable teams by leading, driving coordinating all development activities fChina
- Foster continuous improvement mindset as one team from learnings throughout asset lifecycle
Role
Develop an integrated asset strategy fChina.
- Creates the most competitive strategy based on unmet medical needs, market potential, regulatory requirements operational feasibilities.
- Brings new products to the market through fastest cost-effective approach.
- Provides inputs to global Asset Strategy Team (AST) ensuring China development strategy is integrated the global development strategy.
- Ensures alignment on the program development strategies within China AST with relevant stakeholders including China commercial, JAPAC, Intercon global AST.
- Represents China AST at global ASTs the appropriate decision bodies in China.
Lead the China Asset Strategy Team
- Sets challenging individual asset-related objectives ftogether with the team members to be considered in team member’s objective setting.
- Maintains motivation within the team: Foster ‘trust transparency’ within the team inder to optimize team functioning.
- Fasset-related activities, provides regular feedback to team member concerning their contribution to the team performance to target objectives.
Accountable fadvancing assets with speed, quality good control in budget.
- Defines oversee development timelines milestones in alignment with
C-AST members, key stakeholders in China, JAPAC, Intercon AST
- Drives steers the implementation of the asset strategy in China, by leading C-AST cooperating with ASTs.
- Proactively develops proposals to manage/mitigate/resolve risks fasset strategy delivery in China.
- Empower China functional leads to be accountable responsible ffunctional deliverables deliver in an agile operationally-efficient way fcommitted timelines budgets in China.

职位要求
- Bachelor’s Degree required in life science area; Advanced degree highly preferred (e.g. PhD, MBA).
- Relevant experience in drug development (minimum of 5 years; 10+ years preferred) in a pharmaceutical/biotech setting. Experience in certain therapeutic area is preferred based on the assets/indications being covered.
- Strong strategic thinking, collaboration, facilitative leadership, executive function, problem-solving skills. Ability to assimilate new knowledge rapidly apply that to asset strategy.
- Experience leading a team in a cross-functional environment. Ability to objectively exercise judgment pragmatic solutions to address complex cross-functional problems, to be accountable fobtaining stakeholder advice to make informed decisions, inder to move a program forward in the face of uncertainty incomplete data.
- Ability to lead motivate team members from across functional areas; must be able to lead through influence bring out the best in others. Ability to delegate appropriate accountability decision making to supporting teams functions.
- Ability willingness to respectfully challenge team members functions, manage conflict, inder to assess fully all opportunities, options, risks, mitigations.
- Excellental written communication skills in both Chinese English
