Molex R&D/Product Development Engineering Teams conceiveiginal ideas fnew products, introduce them practice. They are responsible fproduct development, qualification from market definition through production release; assist in the qualification of suppliers fnew products to ensure suppliers deliver quality parts, materials, services fnew improved manufacturing processes; conduct feasibility studies, testing on new modified designs; direct support detailed design, testing, prototype fabrication manufacturing ramp. The R&D/Product Development Engineering Teams provide all required product documentation including, but not limited to, Solid Model, 2D/3D production drawings, product specifications, testing requirements. They modify detailed drawings drafting conceptual models from layouts, rough sketches notes contribute to design modifications to facilitate manufacturing operation quality of product. Typical fields of expertise include: materials, mechanics systems, electrical, optics, chemistry, software, automation systems, packaging, testing measurement, manufacturing of electrical, mechanical electronic components, products, their integration systems.
Key RRE RESPONSBILITIES:
1. Minimum of 5 to 8 years of work experience in a signal integrity engineering role related experience
2. Minimum of 3+ years of work experience in connectdevelopment - Experience with interconnect design experience with connect&/cable/cable assembly design (high speed twinax cables, direct attach copper (DAC) cables)
3. Demonstrated experience using Signal integrity analysis tools (Agilent ADS, Ansys HFSS equivalent, 3D modeling tools) testing equipment (including VNA, TDR BERT).
4. A solid understanding of statistical analysis AI training.
5. A solid understanding of SI & EMC / EMI knowledge, including electromagnetic theory electrical circuit behavi
6. Strong analytical capabilities to interpret simulation lab data to identify issues provide solutions to fix identified problem.
7. Familiarity with printed circuit board design, fabrication assembly.
8. Familiar with material, manufacturing process, manufacture inspection.
9. Familiar with at least one programming language, such as Matlab, python, C++, VB, etc.
10. Excellent verbal written communication skills
11. Ability to work in a global environment – able to accommodate varying time zones, fluent in English (verbal/written), able to collaborate with individuals across geographies
12. Solid presentation skills with an ability to clearly communicate technical concepts to diverse audiences in English
13. Individual must be highly motivated, a quick learner, able to work independently
