DESCRIPTION:
Contribute to innovations that make the world healthier, cleaner, safer. As a Mechanical Engineer II, youll work on sophisticated scientific instruments laboratory equipment, collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop optimize mechanical systems components. Drive product innovation while ensuring manufacturability, reliability, compliance with quality standards. Youll have opportunities to work on challenging technical problems, from concept through production, utilizing advanced CAD tools engineering principles to deliver solutions that meet customer needs.

REQUIREMENTS:
• Advanced Degree with no priexperience, Bachelors Degree plus 3 years of mechanical design experience in a technical product development environment
• Preferred Fields of Study: Mechanical Engineering related engineering field
• Relevant professional certifications are advantageous
• Expertise in 3D CAD software (SolidWorks, CREO, NX) PLM/PDM systems
• Strong knowledge of GD&T, DFM/DFA principles, manufacturing processes
• Experience with mechanical design analysis, FEA, tolerance stack-ups
• Proficiency in designing with various materials including metals, plastics, composites
• Knowledge of quality systems regulatory requirements (ISO, UL, CE, FDA as applicable)
• Demonstrated ability to perform complex engineering calculations analysis
• Experience with test plan development, verification, validation
• Strong project management documentation skills
• Excellent problem-solving analytical abilities
• Effective written verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently collaborate in cross-functional teams
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
• Up to 25% travel may be required fsome positions
• Professional communication skills required, additional language skills are valued
