Key Responsibilities / 主要职责
1. Lead the mechanical design of vacuum chambers, pumping systems, target assemblies, wafer/disk handling mechanisms, thermal management modules using Creo/Pro-E.
2. Perform structural, thermal, vacuum stress, CFD simulations using Ansys to optimize chamber performance, vacuum integrity, pumping efficiency, coating uniformity.
3. Drive prototype development from fabrication through supplier assembly, system integration, equipment qualification, production commissioning.
4. Investigate resolve mechanical issues including vacuum leaks, thermal deformation, motion reliability, interference, cable routing.
5. Develop DOE validation plans, engineering reports, 8D corrective actions, engineering change documentation.
6. Collaborate with process engineers, PLC/automation engineers, manufacturing teams, suppliers to deliver integrated mechanical electrical solutions.
7. Prepare maintain engineering documentation including BOMs, assembly procedures, maintenance manuals, localization packages in both English Chinese.
8. Support equipment installation, startup, engineering activities at manufacturing sites in Shenzhen Penang.
Qualifications / 任职资格
1. Masters degree above in Mechanical Engineering, Vacuum Engineering, Precision Manufacturing, a related discipline.
2. 5–10 years of mechanical design experience fPVD/CVD vacuum coating equipment other high-vacuum precision equipment.
3. Proven experience in complete vacuum chamber equipment design.
4. Experience in HDD carbon overcoat sputtering equipment is highly desirable.
5. Expert in Creo/Pro-E f3D modeling, assembly design, engineering drawing release.
6. Proficient in Ansys fstructural, thermal, fluid simulations.
7. Strong knowledge of turbomolecular pumps, high-vacuum chamber design, sealing technology, vacuum piping systems.
8. Familiar with stainless steel fabrication, aluminum precision machining, welding processes, cleanroom-compatible equipment design.
9. Strong understanding of Design fManufacturing (DFM), Design fAssembly (DFA), engineering change management.
10. Professional English communication skills, including technical documentation, engineering meetings, collaboration with global suppliers manufacturing teams.
