BAIC (Chongqing) Special Vehicle Co., Ltd. (abbreviated as BAIC Special Vehicle) is an automobile manufacturing enterprise controlled by state-owned capital, jointly funded and established by Beijing Automobile Manufacturing Factory Co., Ltd., Chongqing Guangwang Investment Co., Ltd., and Jilin Province Jiaqing Technology Development Co., Ltd. The company has a registered capital of RMB 100 million yuan. Its main business scope includes investing in automobile industry projects; researching, developing, and selling special vehicles, new energy vehicles, auto parts, and automotive accessories; selling engineering machinery, electromechanical products, chemical products (excluding hazardous chemicals and precursor chemicals), and lubricating oil; real estate development; and import and export of goods and technology. The company is located at No. 1 BAIC Road, Degan Industrial Park, Jiangjin District, Chongqing. The BAIC Southwest Automobile Production Base project invested and constructed by BAIC Special Vehicle is a key engineering project in Chongqing, located in Degan Industrial Park, Jiangjin District, Chongqing. It is carried out in three phases: Phase I will build a production base for 10,000 special vehicles and 5,000 new energy vehicles; Phase II will build a parts production base; Phase III will build a complete vehicle production base. Among them, Phase I covers an area of 1,000 mu, with a total investment of more than 2 billion yuan. Within two years, it will build special vehicle modification production lines, painting workshops, component workshops, stamping workshops, cargo box workshops, assembly workshops, R&D centers, automobile testing centers, customer service centers, sales and technical service centers, etc., totaling about 280,000 square meters. After the project reaches full production, it can achieve an annual output value of 6.5 billion yuan. After the project is completed and put into production, BAIC Special Vehicle will surely lead the machinery manufacturing and related supporting industries, and make important contributions to stimulating the local economy and solving social employment.
