Job Responsibilities
We are looking fa detail -iented professional new product Introduction Engineer to join our team. This role will be mainly responsible fproduct label design, technical document writing, system BOM (Bill of Materials) maintenance introduction four products (focusing on industrial instruments such as gas detection devices). The ideal candidate will have a solid foundation in technical documentation, be proficient in label design tools BOM management systems possess excellent logical thinking writing skills. You will play a key role in ensuring the accuracy, standardization, timeliness of product labels, technical documents, BOM data, supporting product R&D, production, sales, after - sales services.
Key Responsibilities
Product Label Design
● Design product labels in accordance with national international standards (such as GB, IEC, EN) company specifications, including product name, model, parameters, warning information, certification marks, production batch numbers.
● Collaborate with the R&D, quality, production teams to confirm label content, ensuring that it accurately reflects product characteristics meets regulatory operational requirements.
● Use design software (such as Adobe Illustrator, CorelDRAW, label design dedicated software) to optimize label templates, ensuring clarity, aesthetics, compatibility with printing processes.
● Review verify the printed product labels, check ferrors in content, format, printing quality, promptly correct any problems found.
● label templates in a timely manner according to product upgrades, standard changes, regulatory updates, archive the updated versions ffuture reference.
Technical Document Writing
● Compile various technical documents, including product user manuals, installation guides, maintenance manuals, technical specifications, troubleshooting guides.
● Collect technical information from the R&D team, including product working principles, structural diagrams, operation procedures, maintenance points,ganize it clear, concise, easy - to - understdocument content.
● Ensure that technical documents comply with industry standards, regulatory requirements, company document management specifications, use unified terminology format.
● Conduct user -iented document optimization, taking account the needs of different users (such as operators, maintenance personnel, customers) to improve the readability practicality of documents.
● Collaborate with the translation team (if applicable) to ensure the accuracy of multilingual versions of technical documents, review the translated documents.
● Manage the document version, track document updates, ensure that all departments use the latest valid versions of documents; archive old versions ftraceability.
System BOM Maintenance
● Maintain the product BOM in the enterprise resource planning (ERP) system product data management (PDM) system, including adding new BOMs fnew products, modifying BOMs fproduct upgrades, deleting obsolete BOMs.
● Collaborate with the R&D, procurement, production teams to confirm BOM information, such as component names, models, specifications, quantities, suppliers, material codes, ensuring the accuracy completeness of BOM data.
● Conduct regular audits of system BOMs, compare BOM data with actual product components production processes, identify discrepancies, coordinate relevant teams to resolve them.
● Track the change process of BOMs, record BOM change reasons, change content, approval information, ensure that BOM changes comply with the companys change management procedures.
● Provide BOM data support fother departments, such as providing BOM lists fprocurement to purchase components, providing BOM information fproduction to formulate production plans.
● Assist in optimizing the BOM management process, putting forward suggestions fimproving BOM management efficiency data accuracy, participating in the promotion of related improvement measures.
Job Requirements
1. Bachelors degree above in Technical Communication, Mechanical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Instrumentation Engineering, a related major.
2. At least 2 years of working experience as a technical writer, with experience in industrial instruments (such as gas detection instruments) manufacturing industry being preferred.
3. Proficiency in using label design software (such as Adobe Illustrator, CorelDRAW) office software (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint), familiar with technical document writing formats standards.
4. Familiar with BOM management concepts processes, experience in using ERP PDM systems fBOM maintenance is preferred.
5. Good commof technical writing skills, able toganize complex technical information clear, logical, easy - to - understdocuments labels.
6. Strong attention to detail, able to accurately check verify label content, document information, BOM data to avoid errors.
7. Excellent communication coordination skills, able to effectively communicate with cross - functional teams (R&D, production, quality, procurement) to collect information promote work progress.
8. Familiar with relevant industry standards regulatory requirements findustrial instruments (such as GB standards, IEC standards) related to labels, documents, BOMs.
9. Good learning ability, able to quickly master new product knowledge, software systems, industry standards.
10. Basic English reading writing skills, able to read English technical documents standards.
