School Introduction:
Nanchang No.5 High School, formerly Jiangxi Provincial * High School, was founded in 1954. In 1958, it was renamed Nanchang No.5 High School and became the * provincial key high school named after the liberation of Jiangxi Province. In 2001, in response to the development of Honggu New District, the Nanchang Municipal Party Committee and Municipal Government decided to restore Nanchang No.5 High School, a key high school in Nanchang, in the form of "privately-run with public assistance." Nanchang No.5 High School is currently a key high school in Jiangxi Province and a modern key demonstration full-boarding school with high starting point, high taste, and high quality. The total campus area is 70,386 square meters, with 51 square meters per student. After reconstruction, Nanchang No.5 High School has won widespread attention and unanimous praise from all sectors of society with its beautiful campus, first-class facilities, strong faculty, quality management, and remarkable achievements year after year. As of 2016, the school has 276 faculty and staff and more than 3,000 students. It has a high school department, a junior high school department, an international department, and an affiliated experimental primary school, and is a well-known high-quality brand school in Nanchang.
