Job Summary
The Product Engineer is responsible fevaluating tools equipment according to UL standards QE procedures, preparing detailed test reports, supporting the development of testing requirements, methods, equipment. This role interacts with multiple internal teams contributes to ensuring product safety, quality, performance.
Essential Duties Responsibilities
1. Evaluate tools equipment according to UL standards QE procedures.
2. Conduct product testing following instructions generate test reports in a timely manner.
3. Analyze defects potential risks of products.
4. Maintain manage laboratory tools equipment.
5. Provide technical expertise collaborate with various internal teams, including Global Sourcing, SQE, Inspection.
6. Assist Product Specialist II in building fixtures.
7. Conduct functional tests on tools equipment.
8. Verify conformance to industry regulatory safety standards.
9. Operate electronic testing equipment, small motdynamometers, environmental chambers, hardness testers, general htools.
10. Prepare detailed written test reports.
11. Participate in analytical reviews of new revised parts, materials, products, including Pareto charts Excel graphs.
12. Independently manage the production evaluation of two product categories.
13. Perform additional duties as assigned by the manager.
Job Qualifications – Education Experience
1. Minimum of 3 years of related experience.
2. Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Mechanical Engineering.
3. Ability to work under pressure.
4. Willingness to learn develop in the testing certification industry.
5. Hands-on experience with disassembling, troubleshooting, assembling various types of products.
6. Ability to write testing reports in English.
7. Experience with testing, repairing, professional trade work on consumer tools equipment.
8. Strong attention to detail ability to work effectively in a team.
9. Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
10. Ability to read interpret documents such as safety rules, operating maintenance instructions, procedure manuals.
11. Strong problem-solving skills ability to handle a variety of concrete situations with limited standardization.
