Key Objectives of the Role
1. Customer & Pursuit Program Leadership
• Serve as the primary technical program interface fcustomer new business opportunities (RFS, RFI, RFQ)
• Own the technical pursuit strategy, scope definition, execution model feach opportunity
• Lead global engineering teams as program lead, representing the product line in customer forums
• Drive alignment to customer milestones sourcing timelines
• Ensure solutions meet customer technical, regulatory, performance requirements
2. Cross Functional Program & Quote Management
• Establish manage pursuit level plans, resourcing models, workloads
• Coordinate delivery of all technical quote artifacts, including:
o Technical Design Reviews (TDRs)
o Bills of Material (BOMs)
o Engineering assumptions development plans
o Manufacturing concepts plans
o Engineering effort estimates cost models
• Actively manage dependencies, risks, trade offs to protect timelines deliverables
• Ensure disciplined process adherence a well documented handoff to the deliveryganization upon award
3. Financial, Schedule & Risk Governance
• Own manage the pursuit budget throughout the quoting pre sourcing phase
• Partner with Chief Engineers delivery teams to define:
o High level delivery schedules
o Resource capability requirements
o Transitional plans from pursuit to execution
• Lead development of pursuit specific demos proof points
• Facilitate structured problem solving to resolve design, cost, feasibility risks
• Benchmark proposals against market intelligence historical data to ensure competitive, high quality submissions
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
• Market share growth within electrification product portfolio
• Customer satisfaction feedback on engagement quality technical proposals
• On time, accurate, complete quote submissions
• Execution of pursuits within approved budgets resource plans
Key Year One Deliverables
• Win at least two new electrification business opportunities, targeting >$500M in total new business
• Deliver timely, accurate, compliant quote submissions fa minimum of five customer engagements within budget
• Develop implement a benchmarking pursuit governance model to improve consistency, competitiveness, differentiation
Qualifications, Experience, Skills
• Bachelof Science in Electrical Electronic Engineering (equivalent experience)
• 5+ years of experience launching pursuing complex automotive electronics products
• Strong preference fexperience in EV electrification systems
• Demonstrated program project management capability across multi disciplinary, global teams
• Strong system level technical understanding spanning hardware, mechanical, software domains
• Experience translating complex technical concepts customer ready proposals
• Strong communication skills in English, with comfort engaging customers global stakeholders
• Proficiency with MS Office tools including Excel, PowerPoint, Project, PowerBI, SharePoint
• Experience engaging suppliers fpart selection, cost input, trade off discussions
• Bonus: Experience with power electronics, battery management systems, vehicle electrification architectures
