China Resources Power (Heze) Co., Ltd. is located in Heze City, Shandong Province, and is invested and constructed by China Resources Power Holdings Co., Ltd. of Hong Kong. The overall design capacity of the power plant is a 4×600MW ultra-supercritical unit project, with the first phase construction scale being a 2×600MW ultra-supercritical unit project, expected to be completed and put into operation by the end of 2009. The total investment for the first phase is approximately 4 billion yuan. This project is a key project under the strategy of "Breakthrough in Heze, Driving the West" implemented by the Shandong Provincial Party Committee and the Provincial Government. The project features energy conservation, water conservation, land conservation, environmental protection, high parameters, large capacity, and full utilization of new technologies such as ultra-supercritical. It is a typical power station project that is resource-saving, comprehensively utilizing resources, and environmentally friendly, complying with national power industry development policies and power station project planning and construction requirements, meeting Shandong's economic development plans, and serving as a regional large-scale pithead and coal-electricity integrated power plant that supports the Shandong power grid.
Heze is a city with a long history, located in the southwest of Shandong Province, bordering Henan, Anhui, and Jiangsu provinces. It serves as a transit hub for the four provinces of Henan, Anhui, Jiangsu, and Shandong, with superior geographical location.
