Key tasks:
- Contribute to strategy definition fthe assigned perimeter, drive implementation of relevant measures
- Continuously monitors the economic, technical & social market trends & risks fthe assigned categories, sub-categories suppliers e.g. market surveys
- Executes benchmarks commercial negotiations with suppliers to achieve the customer RFQ / Project Strategic purchasing objectives solve litigations
Controls presents sourcing matrices when relevant
- Targets to negotiate full congruence of customer terms, conditions requirements with suppliers mitigates deviations between the internal external stakeholders
- Prepares updates the Category Statement Prices parts lists fcustomer RFQs / projects
- Manages the assigned global supplier portfolio based on customer & internal stakeholder requirements, including identification onboarding of new capable suppliers to enhance competition
- Meets suppliers regularly to exchange information to tackle actual topics, including regular on-site visits at the suppliers to stay up-to-date with their technology
- Supports conclusion relevant supplier contracts (e.g. Framework Agreement, Service Level Agreement, Quality Assurance Agreement, including adequate pre-agreements), overseeing in particular the impact of our contracts on the commercial conditions, in the range of assigned responsibility, with the support of the specialist departments
- Identifies supports implementation of VA/VE ideas
- Actively participates in the technical collaboration initiatives between Leoni the suppliers in his/her perimeter
- Manages capacity problems with suppliers, in close collaboration with relevant teams from VCMganization
In case of need, supports escalations which require management attention, with suppliers and/internal stakeholders in the area of assigned material group supplier responsibility, especially including but not limited to commercial disputes, quality supply issues
- Supports project-specific special tasks based on upper level decision
