【Position Summary】
Responsible ffull lifecycle strategic sourcing of motors, fans, drives, sensors, control panels, wiring harnesses, other electronic/electrical components. Through technical alignment, supplier optimization, cost modeling, ensure the reliability, compliance, cost competitiveness of electromechanical electrical purchases, supporting BD China’s upgrade to intelligent livestock equipment.
【Core Responsibilities】
I. Strategy & Category Management
· Develop execute category strategies fmotors, fans, VFDs, PLCs/controllers, power supplies, sensors (bin level / temperature / humidity), solenoid valves, heating elements, wiring harnesses/connectors, complete control cabinets.
· Track price trends supply risks of key materials (copper, aluminum, resin); be familiar with distribution channels, agents, OEMs in the electrical components field, with hands-on management experience.
· Work with engineering to drive standardization localization of component selection.
II. Supplier Lifecycle Management
· Develop qualify suppliers with CE/UL/CCC certifications fmotors, controls, harnesses; focus on EMC control, IP65+ ingress protection, dust/moisture resistance suitable flivestock farm environments.
· Build a qualified supplier pool (covering Yangtze River Delta, Pearl River Delta, Beijing-Tianjin region);ganize technical exchanges sample validation; lead supplier onboarding annual QCDS evaluations.
· Sign strategic agreements with key suppliers to secure long-lead-time electrical components; establish price adjustment mechanisms linked to indices (copper, resin, etc.).
III. Cost Control & Risk Management
· Build cost models fcontrol cabinets other core electrical components to achieve transparent price negotiation.
· Manage supply risks arising from material shortages, copper price volatility, freight capacity constraints; establish safety stock alternative component qualification processes.
· Achieve annual cost reduction targets (through localization, VA/VE, competitive bidding, long-term agreements).
IV. Operational Synergy & System Optimization
· Coordinate with Tianjin plant production planning delivery request to ensure on‑time delivery of electromechanical electrical components.
· Drive Early Supplier Involvement (ESI) – engage suppliers in electrical component selection during NPI to optimize cost manufacturability from the source.
· Lead bidding, negotiation, contract management felectromechanical electrical categories.
【Qualifications】
· Education: Bachelor’s degree above in Electrical Engineering, Automation, Mechatronics, Mechanical & Electronic Engineering, a related field.
· Experience: 10+ years of strategic sourcing experience in electromechanical/electrical components within manufacturing, including at least 3 years directly managing a procurement team fthese categories. Background in livestock equipment, agricultural machinery, home appliances, automotive electronics is preferred.
· Language: Proficient inal written English
· Technical Knowledge:
· Understthe selection assembly standards fcomponents inside control cabinets (PLC, relays, contactors, circuit breakers, etc.).
· Be familiar with key component brands their distribution channels (e.g., Siemens, Schneider, ABB, Chint).

· Strong analytical ability – quickly identify high-value, long-lead-time risks from BOM.
