Summary
Coordinate the day-to-day activities of maintenance workers to ensure that production equipment, machinery, instruments function reliably safely that facilities, buildings, plants are in good workingder.
Key Accountabilities
Function Management
Responsible fdaily coordination of electrical mechanical maintenance operations rectification of faults at the production facilities.
Responsible fthe shutdown of entire parts of the plant inder to carry out more extensive repairs maintenance work (requires the involvement approval of the Production Manager).
Inspect completed work ensuring that repairs have been completed correctly that production machinery equipment conform to specifications safety standards.
Monitthe condition of maintenance equipment, materials, parts, tools that are used by maintenance workers in their day-to-day activities.
Daily checking evaluation of the machine logs flimit value deviations.
Creation implementation of the shift plan fShift Supervisors helping staff.
Quality, Safety, Health Environment
Responsible fthe application compliance with safety fire safety measures during maintenance work.
Inspect work areas on a continuous basis fpossible problems unusual conditions in the production facilities.
Report deficiencies to the Department Managers.
Proper handling of environmentally hazardous substances.
Perform work duties in accordance with Omya Quality Systems Manual procedures.
People Management
Prioritise assign tasks so that the team’s resources are used effectively that work schedules targets are met.
Joint responsibility fthe safety of subordinate employees ensuring compliance with the relevant working conditions working time regulations.
Joint responsibility feducation training of the subordinate employees inganization’s operating procedures standards.
Coach mentmaintenance staff assist them to diagnose more complex problems with machinery equipment problems.
Performance Measures : KPIs agreed in yearly MbO.
Other requirements
Good commof bothal written local language English are required.Good commof bothal written additional language is beneficial.

Education
Technical Vocational training in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering equivalent education.
Experience
5 to 6 years of experience in industrial mechanical / electrical maintenance.Up to 1 year of experience in people management.
Knowledge skills
Completed training as a machinist plant electrician.Demonstrated leadership operational management skills.Thorough knowledge of the mechanical / electrical maintenance requirements procedures frelevant machinery equipment.Thorough knowledge of personal computers data entry as well as programmable logic controllers.
