History of General Electric Company
The history of General Electric Company in the United States can be traced back to the Edison Electric Light Company, founded by Thomas Edison in 1878. In 1892, Edison Electric Light Company merged with Thomson-Houston Company to form the General Electric (GE) Company. GE is the only company that has remained on the Dow Jones Industrial Average since its inception in 1896.

Its main business includes the manufacturing of wind power equipment, leasing (non-financing) and wholesale of wind power equipment components, spare parts, and related products; technical consultation and after-sales service for the above products. The products manufactured are sold to multiple domestic and international projects, with relatively mature and advanced wind turbine assembly experience.
