As a member of the NWCD Premier Support team you will be at the forefront of this transformational technology assisting a global list of companies that are taking advantage of a growing set of services features to run their mission-critical applications. You will work with leading companies in this space directly with the engineering teams within NWCD developing these new capabilities.
As an Operations Manager (Hiring fvarious technical domains) you will be directly responsible fthe day-to-day management of a team of Cloud Support Engineers Associates as well as the overall operational excellence of the Support sited, delivery to NWCD Premium Support customers acting as an escalation point fboth internal external customers.
Basic qualifications:
• 5 years of experience managing teams in a technical support, engineering operations environment.
• Must have a degree (BS/BA) equivalent work experience. Higher education preferred.
• Proven track record of delivering results through people, business operations management.
Hands on experience in one of the technical domains –
• Big Data (Hadoop)
• DevOps (Chef Puppet)
• Application Programming in one more of the following languages – Java/Python/Ruby/.NET/Android/iOS
Preferred qualifications:
• Highly motivated, passionate about people have experience managing technical and/engineering teams – need to be hands on.
• Have a proven record of driving improvement programs in the operations, engineering support fields.
• Ability to understCloud platforms technologies how they operate within a business environment.
• Understanding of business management operations.
• Strong verbal written communication skills, which will be key in driving customer communication during NWCD critical events.
• Experience with managing IT environments on behalf of customers.
• The NWCD business requires innovative thinking balanced with a strong customer quality focus. This leader will have a track record of achieving that balance
• Ability to work with flexible work schedules (weekends and/evenings when required)
