Zhonghaiting

Zhonghaiting is a controlled subsidiary of SAIC Motor Corporation Limited and one of the first Class-A surveying enterprises in China to obtain compliance review numbers for all elements of high-precision maps. It positions itself as a high-tech innovation company providing AI spatiotemporal data intelligence technology services. The company has completed full coverage of high-precision map data for national highways and expressways across dozens of key cities including Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Shenzhen, and Chengdu. In June 2021, the company's flagship product "National Highway High-Precision Electronic Map Data" was officially launched, marking that Zhonghaiting has gained high-precision electronic map data product and service capabilities covering national highways. To date, Zhonghaiting has become a designated supplier for multiple automakers and intelligent driving technology companies including IM Motors, SAIC Passenger Vehicle, SAIC Maxus, SAIC Hongyan, Baoneng Motor, Aiways, and Plus.ai, empowering partners with professional capabilities and quality services to win together in the era of intelligent driving. Beyond intelligent driving, the company has also established a presence in smart port and smart city construction. It has cooperated with SIPG multiple times, building a port digital twin system based on the real world with port high-precision spatial data as the core, integrating dynamic data from terminal equipment to support decision-making, control, and management applications of the port cloud control platform, building a unified spatial data baseline platform for cloud, terminal, and port, and empowering intelligent port construction. Today, the twin port system built by Zhonghaiting for SIPG's Hudong Terminal has completed inspection and gained recognition from SIPG leadership. In addition, Zhonghaiting has signed a strategic cooperation framework agreement with China Mobile (Shanghai) Industrial Research Institute, with both parties cooperating in areas such as smart ports, smart logistics, smart mobility, and smart cities. In October 2021, the 4.9GHz Internet of Vehicles private network 5G-V2X pilot application jointly built by Wuxi Zhihui Transportation, China Mobile, and Zhonghaiting was officially unveiled at the Wuxi IoT Expo, announcing the official landing of the 5G-V2X high-level autonomous driving integrated perception project in Wuxi, helping Wuxi's smart city construction advance toward next-generation vehicle-road collaboration scenario applications. In 2022, as the "14th Five-Year Plan" continues to advance steadily and industrial transformation further deepens, SAIC Motor is comprehensively transforming toward a "user-oriented high-tech company," accelerating intelligent connectivity layout, and deeply advancing the innovation-driven development strategy. Following national planning guidance and the group's transformation pace, and based on its own positioning and business development plan, Zhonghaiting chose to establish a wholly-owned subsidiary in Shanghai, a strategic highland for intelligent connected vehicle development. In the future, Zhonghaiting's Shanghai subsidiary will leverage Shanghai's advantages in institutional environment, talent aggregation, capital markets, and industry organizational system support to undertake business development tasks such as digital twin simulation, crowdsourced R&D, and smart city services, supporting strategic development such as crowdsourced research, empowering Zhonghaiting's liaison and cooperation with upstream and downstream partners and key customers in the Yangtze River Delta region, and improving customer service quality and efficiency.
