Who Youll Work With
You will focus on delivering end-to-end operations transformations by deploying the proven transformation approach enhanced with standardized integrated digital toolkits across functions.
In this role, you will interact with front-line operators to understthe real issue identify tangible solutions. You will make an important contribution to developing tailor-made solutions by working closely with clients to ensure positive impact sustainable results. You will provide oversight, problem-solving support, practical industry expertise that will frequently involve facilitating on-site workshops, individual group coaching, change management sessions.
You will mainly work at client sites but will also help to develop/renew toolkits levers in the hub when you are not on a client project.
There is flexibility to hire at the SeniKnowledge Analyst Knowledge Specialist level, depending on your experience.
You will be based in Shanghai, China as part of our China GEM Technology Hub, Operations practice. Your work will be focused on Global Energy Materials (GEM) industries, which include basic materials, chemicals agriculture, electric power natural gas, oil gas.
McKinsey’s Operations practice assists our clients in solving complex operational challenges. Blending strategic thinking with hands-on practicality, our teams of consultants experts work to develop implement operational strategies that solve our clients most critical problems, particularly in the areas of manufacturing, purchasing supply management, supply chain management, product development, service operations, capital productivity.
You will be working with a unique blend of industry, functional regional expertise to help client companies solve their most important complex problems, delivering fundamental, measurable, lasting performance improvement. You will work closely with our client project teams, providing end-to-end support to ensure clients are able to deliver sustain the full benefits of McKinsey’s recommended change in their business.
Your Qualifications Skills
- University degree in engineering, business, a similar specialization with an excellent record of academic achievement
- 2-10 years of professional experience in either manufacturing, supply chain management, product development, and/service operations
- Ability to conduct interpret analysis independently with demonstrated analytic quantitative skills
- Proven record of leadership in a work setting and/through extracurricular activities
- Strong intrinsic problem-solving skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
Ability to work effectively with people at all levels in anganization
Skills to communicate complex ideas effectively in English Mandarin
