Job Summary
The Project Manager will be part of the China PMO team, which manages the development production of Thermal management products in China but serving the entire Asia market.
This role is particularly focused on Chiller products, serving the Data Center industry.
The Project Manager is responsible accountable fthe management of projects aimed at new products development, to the customization of existing products upon specific client requests (Engineered toder) fproducts transfer from region to region from inception to product launch, coordinating the efforts of all involved departments (engineering, product management, manufacturing engineering, operations, procurement, quality,der fulfillment, logistics, service, marketing, sales other cross-functional groups) to the successful completion of the project. The Project Manager has no direct reports but will manage people indirectly. The Project Manager is responsible fprojects scope, schedule budget. Project manager is also driving the team to achieve the objectives of product costs Time to Market.
Project Manager must maintain continuous alignment of program scope with Company strategic business otherganizational objectives, make recommendations to modify the program to enhance effectiveness, highlight any possible situation hindering achievement of program results elaborate a recovery plan.
The context in which the Project Manager operates is characterized by complex relationships in an international multicultural environment, typical of largeganizations.
The Project Manager therefore must be able to navigate complexities, foster relationships, maintain communication with stakeholders at multiple levels, including those external to theganization.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Lead end-to-end project management fnew product development, ensuring alignment withganizational goals objectives.
• Ensure the projects are managed in accordance with the Corporate NPDI (New Product Development Introduction) Process,
• Develop execute project plans, including timelines, milestones, resource allocation, while effectively managing risks dependencies.
• Drive cross-functional collaboration foster a culture of teamwork to achieve project deliverables meet aggressive deadlines.
• Work with management of different operating functions to identify obtain required resources to adequately staff projects.
• Facilitate effective communication collaboration between various stakeholders, including engineering teams, operations, product offering executive leadership.
• Track report on project progress, budget utilization, key performance indicators (KPIs) to stakeholders senimanagement.
• Identify proactively mitigate risks issues that may impact project timelines, scope, quality.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement, driving innovation efficiency in the product development process.
• Collaborate closely with the Product Management team to define product requirements, specifications, ensure alignment with customer needs with the Engineering team to develop validate solutions which are compliant with the requirements set, at a competitive product cost.
• Initiate complete post-launch product analysis feedback collection to inform future iterations enhancements.
QUALIFICATIONS
• Bachelors degree in Engineering, Business, related field (Master degree preferred).
• Minimum 3 years’ experience as a Project/Program Manager, leading projects programs in a structuredganization
• Excellent knowledge of the English language, both written spoken
• Good communication interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage influence stakeholders at all levels.
• Excellent leadership influencing skills, with the ability to motivate guide cross-functional teams towards a common goal.
• Strong problem-solving decision-making abilities, with a proactive solution-oriented mindset.
• Good Project management skills, PMP certification strongly preferred.
• Proficiency in project management tools software (e.g. MS Project, Smartsheet)
• Understanding of the product development lifecycle, from concept ideation to commercialization.
• Availability to travel up to 20% of the time, mainly within Europe, occasionally in other regions.
• Experience in the HVAC sectis preferred.
• Experience working with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) is a plus.
