1. Mandatory Technical Requirements (Hard Skills)
• Experience
o Minimum 5 years of structural steel design experience
o Background in reputable Chinese design institutes, steel structure consultancies, modular building companies
• Technical Competency
o Solid fundamentals in steel structure design, including:
 Global local stability
 Load path understanding
 Connection joint design
o Experience in at least one of the following:
 Modular / volumetric buildings
 Multi-storey steel frame structures
 Industrial prefabricated steel structures
• Project Exposure
o Full project-cycle experience (concept, detailed design, construction drawings)
o Familiar with typical steel nodes such as beam–column connections, module corner connections, lifting transportation nodes
• Software
o Proficient in common structural analysis software (e.g. SpaceGass, STAAD.Pro, RFEM / RSTAB（Dlubal）, Tekla Structural Designer, SkyCiv, CHECKSTEEL, Structural Toolkit, Tekla Tedd, PROFIS / Hilti equivalent)
o Able to produce clear well-structured calculation reports

• Strong Learning Agility & Motivation
o Highly motivated to learn overseas design codes (AS / AISC / Eurocode)
o Genuine interest in modular industrialized construction
• High Level of Accuracy & Responsibility
o Strong awareness that modular steel structures have very low tolerance ferrors
o Meticulous, detail-oriented, capable of thorough self-checking
• Good Communication Habits
o Clear, logical, structured written communication
o Able to conduct basic technical communication in English (written verbal)
• Process-Oriented Mindset
o Comfortable working with detailed design procedures, checklists, standard templates
o Willing to strictly follow internal standards rather than relying on personal habits
3. Preferred (But Not Mandatory)
• Priexperience on offshore Australian projects
• Exposure to transportation lifting condition analysis
• Experience with standardized repetitive structural systems
• Familiarity with Revit, Tekla, shop drawing review workflows
