The Global Category Leader – PCB (Printed Circuit Board) is responsible fdeveloping executing global sourcing strategies fPCBs, ensuring optimal supply chain performance cost efficiency. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams—including engineering, procurement, quality—to manage supplier relationships, drive continuous improvement, mitigate risks within the PCB supply base.
Key Responsibilities
• Develop implement global sourcing strategies fPCB components to achieve cost savings, quality improvements, supply continuity.
• Lead supplier selection, negotiation, contract management, performance evaluation processes fPCB suppliers.
• Monitmarket trends, technological advancements, supply chain risks relevant to PCBs; proactively identify opportunities challenges.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align category strategies with business objectives, new product development, sustainability goals.
• Manage supplier relationships, including performance reviews, corrective actions, fostering innovation partnership.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, industry standards, regulatory requirements fPCB sourcing.
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Engineering, Business Administration, related field.
• 8+ years of experience in global category management procurement, preferably within electronics PCB sourcing.
• Strong negotiation, analytical, project management skills.
• Excellent communication stakeholder management abilities.
• Knowledge of PCB manufacturing processes, market dynamics, supplier base quality standards.
• Proficient English communication
Location & Travel
This is a global role, requiring occasional international travel to meet suppliers attend industry events.
