About the Company

The Institute of Nuclear Industry 270 (hereinafter referred to as "Institute 270") was established in October 1979 and is affiliated with China National Nuclear Corporation. It has now developed into a comprehensive geological exploration unit and a National Civilized Unit. Shouldering the historical mission of "serving the country through uranium mining," it is the "national team" and "main force" of uranium exploration in China, and has made positive contributions to China's nuclear industry and local economic development. Institute 270 currently has 10 functional departments and 5 production and operation units, with 258 employees. It has 187 professional and technical personnel mainly in nuclear geology, including 50 doctoral and master's degree holders, 17 professor-level senior engineers, 27 senior engineers, and 85 engineers. Institute 270 holds 5 Grade A geological exploration qualifications (regional geological survey, solid mineral exploration, geophysical exploration, geochemical exploration, geological drilling); 2 Grade B geological exploration qualifications (liquid mineral exploration, hydrogeological, engineering geological, and environmental geological survey); and qualifications including engineering survey, pile foundation testing, Grade B environmental impact assessment, Grade 3 general contracting for environmental protection engineering and municipal public works construction, Grade B surveying and mapping, and Grade C geological disaster treatment engineering construction. In 2012, it passed safety production license certification. In 2018, it passed the "three-in-one" management system certification for quality, environment, and occupational health and safety. It is a system-level and provincial-level second-class unit for safety production standardization, and has passed certifications for metrology, scientific research and production qualifications, and national second-class archives management in Jiangxi Province. Institute 270 possesses more than 300 sets of advanced instruments and equipment. It has comprehensive technical capabilities in mineral resource exploration and development, groundwater pollution assessment and treatment, environmental monitoring and assessment, nuclear radiation environmental detection, radiation environmental protection engineering, soil environmental remediation and treatment, engineering survey, engineering construction, pile foundation testing, engineering measurement, mine decommissioning treatment engineering, drilling engineering (sandstone-type uranium ore in-situ leaching process holes, ultra-deep drilling, oil and gas, shale gas, geothermal drilling, etc.), and geological disaster treatment. In research fields such as uranium geology, engineering survey, environmental protection, and ultra-deep drilling, it has won more than 50 awards at or above the provincial and ministerial levels, including 1 First Prize and 3 Second Prizes of the National Science and Technology Progress Award. At present, in accordance with the development strategy of China National Nuclear Corporation, Institute 270 is seizing the opportunities of China's nuclear and nuclear energy development and military-civilian integration, aiming to ensure the demand for natural uranium resources for nuclear and nuclear energy development, and strives to build a "1+3" industrial model (uranium geology, engineering construction, environmental protection engineering, and geological and mineral technical services), giving full play to its advantages in personnel, equipment, and technology, continuously improving its scientific and technological innovation capability and core competitiveness, achieving high-quality development, and advancing toward the goal of becoming a domestic first-class geological exploration unit. Introduction to the Environmental Engineering Institute: The institute's environmental protection work began in 1989, when the Environmental Engineering Institute was established. Over more than 30 years, its work areas have expanded to Jiangxi, Anhui, Fujian, Guangdong, Hubei, Hainan, Guizhou, Hebei, Xinjiang, Tibet, and other provinces. Projects originate from the Ministry of Land and Resources, the State Administration of Science, Technology and Industry for National Defense, China National Nuclear Corporation, China National Nuclear Geology Bureau, the Ministry of Environmental Protection, provincial environmental protection departments, and municipal environmental protection bureaus, etc. It has completed approximately 500 geological exploration and research projects and more than 5,000 environmental protection projects. [Environmental Consulting Business] Planning environmental impact assessment, construction project environmental impact assessment, post-environmental impact assessment; special topics on atmospheric and ecological environmental impact assessment; completion environmental protection acceptance, pollutant discharge permit application, environmental emergency plans, environmental supervision; full-process environmental steward services; cleaner production audits, feasibility study reports, energy conservation assessments; water and soil conservation plans, water and soil conservation acceptance monitoring. 3. [Geological Environment Business] Soil pollution investigation and risk assessment, soil GP drilling rig sampling; special topics on soil and groundwater environmental impact assessment; soil remediation plans and treatment; geological disaster projects (survey, design, assessment, construction); mine restoration and treatment (including tailings ponds and associated radioactive mines). 4. [Environmental Protection Engineering Business] Radiation protection engineering design and construction, radioactive waste treatment engineering; electromagnetic shielding engineering; purification engineering; wastewater treatment engineering, waste gas treatment engineering; environmental protection engineering operation and management; general contracting for environmental protection design and construction. Introduction to the Analysis and Testing Center: The Analysis and Testing Center of Institute of Nuclear Industry 270 was established in March 2018. At present, the site construction has begun to take shape. More than 200 sets of various instruments and equipment have been purchased, with a total value of more than 20 million yuan. The analysis and testing laboratory covers an area of more than 1,000 square meters, with complete infrastructure and good working environment and experimental conditions. This analysis and testing laboratory will be an important innovation base for Institute 270's geological exploration, scientific research activities, and environmental monitoring and assessment. It will also be open and shared with society, providing users with fair, scientific, high-precision, and high-accuracy testing services.
