Zhongke Microneedle (Chongqing) Technology Co., Ltd. was established on October 28, 2019 in Gelan Town Health Industrial Park, with a registered capital of 20 million yuan. It is the production base and talent training base for Zhongke Microneedle's industrialization project. Zhongke Microneedle (Chongqing) currently has more than 100 employees, of whom 83 are under 35 years old and 65 have a college degree or above. In 2021, the Chongqing company's output value was more than 80 million yuan, sales were more than 30 million yuan, completed technology transfer for 13 products, obtained filing certificates for more than 40 products under 3 brands, successfully sold products to more than 20 provinces and cities across the country, and opened marketing channels such as JD.com, Tmall, and Xiaohongshu, gradually trying live-streaming promotion on platforms such as Kuaishou and Douyin.
Zhongke Microneedle is an enterprise commercializing research achievements from the Chinese Academy of Sciences. Its core technology originates from more than ten years of dedicated research by the team of Researcher Gao Yunhua at the Technical Institute of Physics and Chemistry of the Chinese Academy of Sciences. Supported by basic research on microneedle drug delivery technology at the Technical Institute of Physics and Chemistry of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, the company has established a polymer microneedle drug delivery technology R&D and pilot production platform. It is a CRMO enterprise integrating new drug R&D and pilot production. Its main R&D product is a new type of intradermal drug delivery formulation---microneedle patches. It has applied for 28 patents, including 24 invention patents (9 authorized), 1 utility model, and 2 design patents. Among the invention patents, there are 4 PCT patents. Its industrialization technology and scale are at the international advanced level.
