Chongqing Baocheng Carbon Materials Co., Ltd. (abbreviated as Chongqing Baocheng, formerly Chongqing Luyang Chemical Co., Ltd.) was established in January 2010. The company is located in the coking plant area of the new park of Chongqing Iron & Steel Changshou Economic Development Zone. Relying on the tar resources, public auxiliary energy media supply and supporting services of Chongqing Iron & Steel Co., Ltd., it has built 150,000 tons/year coal tar processing, 80,000 tons modified pitch and supporting facilities. Its main products include high-quality modified pitch, anthracene oil, industrial naphthalene, crude phenol, dephenolized oil, light oil and other coal chemical products. It is one of the largest coal tar refining and deep processing enterprises in Southwest China. In May 2020, Baowu Carbon, Luyang Investment and Chongqing Iron & Steel restructured Chongqing Baocheng.
