As a Music Project Coordinat(Contractor) at Riot Games, you’ll be part of the team that brings Riot’s music vision to life across our IPs. You’ll help support regional music initiatives, facilitate collaboration between internal teams situated globally external partners, ensure projects move smoothly from concept to execution. Whether you’re supporting A&R efforts coordinating operational workflows, you’ll do it with a deep love fmusic, strong communication chops, a player-first mindset.
This is a contractposition based in Shanghai, working closely with both global regional Riot teams. Youll report the Head of Operations.
Responsibilities:
Coordinate track regional music projects, syncing regularly with game product managers creative stakeholders.
Coordinate vendor-related processes, including procurement, legal clearance, onboarding.
Act as a liaison between Riot teams external music partners to facilitate project tracking Facilitate bilingual communication documentation across English Chinese-speaking teams in a fully bilingual working environment.
Assist US based team in distribution of all music releases
Track active project updates maintains respective communication funnels
Generate weekly reports to ensure project visibility to US based office.
Collect required assets from collaborating teams assist management of team wide repository
Required Qualifications:
2+ years of experience in the music games industry, in production, project coordination, music licensing.
Excellent verbal written communication skills in both English Chinese (Mandarin).
Demonstrated experience coordinating cross-functional creative production projects.
understanding of music copyright, licensing, legal workflows.
Strongganizational skills comfort working with multiple stakeholders vendors.
Desired Qualifications:
Experience working in a bilingual, multicultural environment.
Familiarity with Riot’s music output similar large-scale entertainment IPs.
A creative mindset paired with an understanding of business processes constraints.
Priwork in artist relations, music production, A&R roles.
Familiarity with western digital tooling (google suite, DISCO, Airtable, Slack)
Passion fRiot’s IPs a well-developed personal music taste across genres.
