The company has independent intellectual property rights for both dry-process and wet-process lithium-ion battery separator production technologies, and possesses multiple proprietary technologies and national invention patents for lithium-ion battery separator preparation. The company's separator production lines are completely independently designed and manufactured by top foreign equipment manufacturers, featuring stable and precise process control, fast production speed, wide product width and high yield. The company currently has two high-performance wet-process lithium-ion battery separator production lines with an annual output of 15 million square meters each, mainly producing single-layer lithium-ion battery separators in specifications such as 7, 9, 12, 16, and 20 μm; and two coated separator production lines with an annual output of 5 million square meters each. Kunming Newmi (located in Kunming Anning Industrial Park) has two high-performance dry-process lithium-ion battery separator production lines with an annual output of 15 million square meters each, mainly producing 12-32 μm dry-process composite three-layer lithium-ion battery separators. The company's total separator production capacity reaches 60 million square meters per year. It is planned that by 2018, the company's total production capacity will reach an annual output of 260 million square meters.
