Objective of Job:
• Identify, monitassess emerging technologies, market trends innovation opportunities across automotive adjacent industries, with focus on AI, Smart Cockpit, Software-Defined Vehicle (SDV), Digital Experience Future Mobility.
• Lead technology evaluation, feasibility assessment, Proof-of-Concept (PoC) validation activities to assess technical maturity, customer value, strategic relevance fMercedes-Benz, steering informed decisions from concept exploration to product integration.
• Build maintain relationships with startups, technology companies, universities research institutes, identify potential collaboration opportunities within Chinas innovation ecosystem.
• Prepare technology insights, innovation recommendations executive briefings to support future products, technology customer experience development.
Qualifications:
• Bachelors degree above in Engineering, Computer Science, Automotive Engineering related disciplines; Masters degree preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in Advanced Engineering, Innovation Management, Technology Strategy, Emerging Technology Research, Product Innovation, with a strong preference fcandidates possessing a software engineering background.
• Strong understanding of emerging technologies, including AI, Smart Cockpit, SDV, Connectivity Digital Experience.
• Experience in technology scouting, technology evaluation, supplier technology partner relationship management, PoC validation ecosystem collaboration is preferred.
• Strong analytical, communication stakeholder management skills.
• Fluent English communication skills.
