Introduction
We are seeking a Supply Quality Engineer to join our MIN Procurement China team. You will be responsible fworking on supplier quality assurance on project basis at supplier fMetso interests customer satisfaction. Monitsupplier quality performance contribute on supplier continuous improvement fsustainable reliable supply chain to Metso. Your role plays a crucial part in SQE team. In this position, you will report to Quality Manager .

What you’ll do
Analyzes supplier’s capacity capabilities to meet Metso quality requirements specified in specifications, drawings, contractual documents, so on.
Conducts project kick-off meeting with supplier. Clarifies specifications documents ensuring compliance to specifications drawings.
Consults with Engineering, Project Management, Procurement ftechnical questions.
Supervises supplier manufacturing process. Identifies quality non-conformance. Communicates clarifies acceptable rework instructions, communicates to supplier. Follows up implement of corrective actions required defined.
Participates in physical inspection activities in manufacturing processes at supplier to ensure compliance to Metso quality requirements. Communicates process inspection techniques to supplier.
Conducts review supplier report, document final quality package.
Maintains the use of quality modules in Jagger Direct at responsible suppliers to deal with Exceptional Approval, Request fInspection, Goods Movement, Customer Complaint.
Manages supplier’s continuous improvement actions. Recommends changes in manufacturing processes supplier systems to improve product quality.
Provides source inspection report, project status report whenever needed required.
Performs other miscellaneous duties and/other special projects as required.
Travel (both domestic international) will be required as needed.
Who you are
Bachelor’s Degree chemical material/process Engineering related. Strong knowledge experience in aspects of manufacturing inspection of painting is a must. Good fabrication knowledge & inspection skill is a plus.
Minimum 10 years’ experience in painting related works of quality inspection etc.
Strong knowledge in materials, testing inspection of painting etc.
Certified painting inspection qualification (NACE II equivalent) is a must to the position.
Working knowledge in quality inspection and/supplier quality management will be a plus.
