Guangdong Work Injury Rehabilitation Center (Guangdong Work Injury Rehabilitation Hospital)

Guangdong Work Injury Rehabilitation Hospital, established in 2001, is a public welfare institution under the Department of Human Resources and Social Security of Guangdong Province, China. It is the first rehabilitation institution in China integrating clinical care, rehabilitation, teaching, research, and prevention. As the "National Comprehensive Work Injury Rehabilitation Base" jointly built by the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security and Guangdong Province, it also serves as a training base for rehabilitation professionals at national, provincial, and municipal levels. The hospital is renowned in the industry as the "Whampoa Military Academy for Rehabilitation Talents" and the "Museum of Rehabilitation Therapy," continuously building a rehabilitation brand characterized by "concept leadership, technological innovation, top-tier nationwide, and leading in South China." The hospital's services are based in Guangzhou and extend nationwide, with the Baiyun and Conghua campuses. The Baiyun campus has a planned total construction area of 130,000 square meters, with Phase I completing 58,000 square meters, currently operating over 700 beds; Phase II covers 72,000 square meters, and upon completion, the total beds will exceed 1,400. It is one of the rehabilitation institutions in China with the most comprehensive categories of rehabilitation therapies, the largest rehabilitation training area, and the highest concentration of rehabilitation professionals.
