The role
The primary responsibility fthis role is to be responsible fthe materials localization, BoM cost, MRO procurement.
What we’re looking for
SCHURTER is now looking fa SeniSourcing Engineer to join our Shenzhen factory where R&D center multi manufacturing sites combined , Shenzhen factory play pivotal position to Schurter Group, we need hire ONE passionate sourcing professional to join this fast-paced team.
Roles & responsibilities
- Develop manage local suppliers meeting quality, delivery, cost requirement (20%)
- Support sourcing activities fglobal transferred projects – Fuse, Filter, HMI Touch Panel (20%)
- Proactively drive cost improvement by negotiation, VAVE, DFC (Design fCost), Should-cost (20%)
- Support Shenzhen factory MRO procurement (20%)
- Support global category team fnew suppliers’ evaluation, audit, management (10%)
- New project development support from concept phase, engineering design, NPI, sustaining (5%)
- Ad-hoc task assigned by line manager (5%)
Skills & experience
- Bacheluniversity degree in engineering, management
- At least 8 years hands-on sourcing experience in plastic, metal, EE parts (MRO procurmenet experience is plus)
- Good english skill fwritting & speaking (this positon need daily comminicate with global team)
- Teamwork, respect ambiguity-management mindset
- Sound computer skill: MS windows, outlook, word, excel, PowerPoint, data analyst) 良好的计算机技能，包括：MS windows、outlook、word、excel、PowerPoint、数据分析）
- Good skills fpresentation, strong communication persuasion skills, good relationship with inner external client. 良好的沟通技巧，与内外部保持良好关系。
- Capable of working completely independently, works effectively, good at time management. 能够完全独立工作，工作效率高，善于时间管理。
