· Manage products through R&D NPI process, complete Phase Exit gates, deliver qualified products meeting NPI deliverables to the Operations team.
· Primary responsibility to develop manage the project schedule, communicate status, highlight gaps to plan. · Primary team interface working with design team, internal support groups, operations team, marketing.
· Set, manage, communicate expectations to the project team, management, other stakeholders. · Identify manage project resource constraints, dependencies, critical paths to accomplish the program goals; resolve issues.
· Manage material supply to ensure build configuration schedule will support required NPI deliverables.
· Regular communication with off-shore manufacturing supply chain team members.
· Light travel fdevelopment activities: global team coordination, product transfer, problem resolution.
SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS (include Education, Skills & Experience):
· MS in an engineering science discipline · 7+ years of relevant experience
· Experience with optical transceivers components desirable
· Experience with New Product Introduction (NPI) and/Product Lifecycle Management processes
· Experience successfully managing cross-functional teams, interacting with a broad range of functions, skills, cultures, personalities
· Highly self-motivated with a strong multi-disciplinary background is essential
· Good English skill
· Experience with Microsoft Office suite required
· Experience withacle, Agile, MS Project desirable
· Strong communication, planning,ganizational skills
· Strong problem solving, critical thinking, risk management skills
