You will join a multicultural cross-disciplinary environment with internal external development teams around the world. As an embedded software engineer in development center, you will need to lead ESW domain, actively drive JDM supplier to deliver expected results. There are nodinary days in the engineering team, but your tasks may include below key Responsibilities:
• Lead define the development of critical ESW/FW requirements standards to ensure robustness, efficiency, compliance fGN’s products.
• Collaborate with JDM partners, design implement ESW/FW fGN products from requirements to production commercial deployment.
• Develop maintain documentation fESW/FW development processes supplier interactions.
• Ensure the development of ESW/FW fulfill GN cybersecurity requirements.
• Monitreview suppliers ESW/FW development progress deliverables to ensure project alignment.
• Provide technical expertise guidance to suppliers to resolve complex ESW/FW issues.
• Collaborate with app developers to define API requirements robust interfaces fGN product integration with mobile desktop applications.
• Stay informed of the latest ESW/FW technologies methodologies to foster continuous improvement.
• Proactive identification resolution of ESW/FW issues, minimizing impact on project timelines performance.
• Effective management validation of suppliers ESW/FW deliverables, ensuring seamless integration high-quality outputs.
• Strong collaboration with internal teams external suppliers, fostering a productive efficient development environment.
• Effective collaboration with UI/UX designers app developers to ensure a cohesive user-friendly interaction between the software the user.
• Teamwork with cross-functional teams external suppliers to deliver comprehensive embedded software solutions.

Great stakeholder management skills vast experience
As a person, you possess strong communication skills, enabling you to build good relationships with external internal stakeholders at all levels. You have a strong determination drive, even when things are challenging.
Primary External Relations:
• Engage technically with ESW/FW suppliers to evaluate their capabilities.
• Collaborate with suppliers on ongoing ESW/FW development, validation, troubleshooting.
• Work with suppliers on collaborative ESW/FW development integration.
Primary Internal Relations:
• Act as SW PM in program scoping, execution, risk managements ensuring ESW/FW meet GN’s requirement.
• Partner with internal teams suppliers to facilitate software testing quality control.
Professional Skills:
• Bachelors master’s in information/SW engineering related fields.
• A minimum of 10 years of experience in embedded software/firmware development, with a proven track record of successful project delivery. Experience in enterprise headset/video bar, project SW lead/driver SW architect is preferred.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as C, C++, Assembly, other ESW/FW related languages.
• Comprehensive knowledge of software/firmware development life cycles, from design to deployment maintenance.
• Familiarity with software configuration management tools, defect tracking tools, peer review processes.
• Excellent knowledge of operating system coding techniques, IP protocols, interfaces, hardware subsystems.
• Familiarity with mobile desktop application development ecosystems the interfacing of embedded systems with these platforms.
• Ability to lead influence technical discussions with suppliers/partners collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project success.
• Great spoken written English.
