The primary responsibility fthe position is to drive strategic sourcing cost optimization fkey mechanical plastics commodities, in close collaboration with product development suppliers. You will be part of a cohesive supportive work culture, contributing to innovative projects that push the limits of technology within GN.

You will get your hands on the following exciting tasks:
• Strategic Sourcing: Lead implement sourcing strategies fPlastics commodity apply them in development projects, ensuring cost-effective innovative solutions faudio video products.
• Supplier Collaboration: Function as the key commercial interface between product development teams suppliers, challenging collaborating with designers to optimize material choices manufacturing processes.
• Cost Management: Conduct mechanic should-cost reviews drive actions to reduce total product costs, ensuring competitive pricing quality.
• Supply Chain Optimization: Develop a total cost capacity-optimized inbound supply chain, ensuring trusted flexible supply.
• Risk Management: Perform risk mitigation contingency planning to safeguard supply chain operations.
• Cross-Cultural Collaboration: Work with international teams across Denmark, China, Malaysia, Vietnam, the US, navigating time zones cultural differences to achieve project goals.
A commercially driven collaboration-minded individual, we imagine the following sounds like you:
• Experience: 5-10 years in procurement, with a strong background in mechanics sourcing, preferably within consumer electronics.
• Education: Commercial degree degree in mechanical engineering.
• Skills: Strong negotiation skills, project management expertise, excellent communication abilities. Must be able to speak write English effortlessly.
• Travel: Flexibility to travel 20-30 days a year to collaborate with colleagues suppliers globally.
