This role is very critical fnot only new packaging design, development validation on the production lines to enable the business growth, but also alternative packaging material 2nd venddevelopment validation to improve efficiencies generate saving. This role is also playing as packaging expert to provide technical support fpackaging related trouble shooting, continuous improvement. This role will drive connection co-development on packaging internally with other counties regions, also externally with supplier
Responsibilities:
1. In line with business strategy priorities, drive packaging innovation by ideating new concepts integrating emerging technologies the business; lead the design development, launch of new packaging projects, leveraging deep expertise in food packaging development, industry best practices, testing methodologies, trial protocols;
2. Align with business strategies collaborate closely with other functions, including PD, procurement, supply chain, QA&R teams, to design deliver packaging related cost improvement initiatives (CCI). Identify, mitigate, creatively resolve project risks to ensure on-time launch; possess comprehensive knowledge of food science, packaging machinery, packaging materials
3. Maintain all packaging specifications, artworks related documents; lead execute full-scale packaging tests trials to validate performance compliance, other packaging activities.
4. Continuously improve packaging technical capabilities via building strong packaging lab, leveraging learning experience from other countries regions, building strong network with suppliers institutes, stay abreast of industry trends technological applications to enhance business performance.
5. Demonstrate in-depth expertise in flexible films Performance Led Packaging (PLP) sustainability solutions; lead cross-functional projects focused on sustainable packaging development implementation.
6. Undertake additional ad-hoc packaging management tasks special projects as assigned by senileadership.
Requirements:
1. Bachelabove. Advance education in Packaging Science, material science relevant equivalent is preferred
2. 10+ years Packaging Development experience on Food package, ideally with experience in both of international local companies
3. Rich Experience in flexible film, package machine, the food industry, product development preferred.
