Key Responsibilities:
80Lead new product development fspecialty lubricants in Asia Pacific, addressing unmet customer needs with a strong balance of performance, manufacturability, quality, commercial viability.
80Own the end-to-end product development process, from concept through formulation, testing, qualification, commercialization. Ensure alignment with technical regulatory standards.
80Drive product qualification at target customers support localization efforts in China by collaborating with global regional cross-functional teams.
80Provide technical leadership in the lab, including experiment design, data analysis, mentoring of lab technologists. Build lab capabilities by introducing new equipment, processes, test methods.
80Ensure rigorous documentation IP protection, maintaining accurate records compliance with quality systems lab safety protocols.
80Monitindustry trends customer needs, integrating insights technology roadmaps multi-generation product plans. Actively scout introduce relevant external technologies.
80Represent the product development function in internal external technical forums, including customer meetings, industry conferences, professional societies.
80Support strategic initiatives, including value proposition development, competitive analysis, technical content creation fmarketing sales enablement.
Qualifications
Required Education, Experience Qualifications:
80Master’s degree above in Applied Chemistry, Material Science, Chemical Engineering, a related scientific discipline.
80Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in specialty lubricant product development, with solid knowledge in tribology (friction wear).
80Proven ability to translate customer needs product solutions, drive development projects from concept to commercialization.
80Strong problem-solving skills, with experience applying analytical techniques to overcome technical challenges in product development.
80Familiarity with patent analysis priart review; ability to leverage knowledge management tools to support innovation maintain technology leadership.
80Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal written, with the ability to deliver clear persuasive technical presentations.
80Self-motivated proactive, with strong interpersonal skills the ability to work effectively both independently in cross-functional teams.
