DATABASE ADMINISTRATRESPONSIBILITIES:
 Monitoring system performance identifying problems that arise.
 Responding in a timely manner to user-reported errors.
 Protecting the database against threats unauthorized access.
 Ensuring that the database is adequately backed up able to be recovered in the event of memory loss.
 Complying with ITIL processes in daily operation.
 Working with monitoring platform admin to setup key indicators of database.
 Working with backup admin to configure database to be backed up.
 Reporting on metrics regarding usage performance.
 Suggesting changes improvements fdatabase maintenance protection.
 Regularly liaising with IT project managers database programmers.
 Designing databases with both front-end back-end users in mind.
DATABASE ADMINISTRATREQUIREMENTS:
 A bachelors degree in computer science a related field.
 5 years’ work experience as a Database Administratis preferred.
 Advanced certification as an MCDBA MCSD f.NET is advantageous.
 A minimum of 3 years experience as a database administrator.
 Proficiency in data manipulation languages, including MS SQL, MySQL,acle Database, Hadoop, PostgreSQL.
 Analytical mindset good problem-solving skills.
 Excellent verbal written communication skills.
 Highlyganized responsible.
 Capable of working under pressure.
 Up-to-date with trends developments in database administration.
 Good reading speaking in English.
