Philips HealthSuite Digital Platform is seeking a SeniDevOps Engineer to help build, operate, evolve the cloud platform services that enable healthcare innovation at scale.
You will be part of a highly skilled global Cloud Operations team responsible fthe end-to-end management reliability of Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS) Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) capabilities. In this pivotal role, you will leverage your broad software engineering cloud-operations background—including automation, scripting, security, networking, public-cloud technologies—to deliver secure, reliable, scalable platform services to internal external customers.

Your role
o Design, implement, operate, continuously improve cloud platform capabilities across IaaS PaaS environments.
o Build maintain automated infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, CI/CD pipelines, deployment workflows using infrastructure-as-code DevOps practices.
o Apply Site Reliability Engineering principles to improve service availability, scalability, observability, performance, incident response, operational resilience.
o Collaborate with software engineering, platform engineering, security, network, product teams to deliver secure, reliable, developer-friendly platform services.
o Embed security-by-design DevSecOps practices across the platform lifecycle, including identity access management, vulnerability remediation, secure configurations, software supply-chain controls.
o Develop enhance monitoring, logging, alerting, dashboards, operational documentation, runbooks.
o Lead technical troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, post-incident improvement initiatives; identify automate opportunities to reduce operational toil.
o Contribute to the evolution of DevOps, SRE, security culture through technical leadership, knowledge sharing, mentoring of colleagues.
You’re the right fit if
o You have 10+ years of professional experience in software engineering.
o You have 5+ years of hands-on experience in Platform Engineering, DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, Cloud Operations, a comparable discipline.
o You have strong practical experience with public-cloud environments, preferably AWS and/Microsoft Azure.
o You have proven experience designing operating cloud-native platforms, including containers, Kubernetes, CI/CD, infrastructure as code, automation, configuration management.
o You bring strong scripting automation skills, as well as a solid understanding of networking, security, operating-system fundamentals; Windows experience is an advantage.
o You understactively apply DevOps, SRE, security mindsets: shared ownership, automation, continuous improvement, reliability, observability, blameless learning, security by design.
o You have experience with incident management, root-cause analysis, operational readiness, service-level objectives, reliability improvements in production environments.
o You communicate clearly confidently in spoken written English can collaborate effectively with global, cross-functional technical stakeholders.
o You are proactive, analytical, customer-focused, comfortable working on complex technical problems in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred qualifications
o Experience operating platforms that support healthcare, regulated, enterprise, other mission-critical workloads.
o Relevant certifications in AWS, Azure, Kubernetes, cloud security, SRE.
o Experience with GitOps, platform self-service, developer portals, modern observability tooling.
o Experience working in a global product engineeringganization.
