In the early autumn of 2010, SHAREWITHU acquired its first round 2 million dollars investment from Bluerun Ventures, one of the top VC companies in American, while its founders were still students. In October 2011, while most Chinese internet companies were going through a “cold winter”, SHAREWITHU successfully accomplished its second round financing of 1.5 million dollars, led by MorningSide Ventures and with several American top VCs participating.

In 2013, “Study abroad, start for SHAREWITHU” became the new slogan of the company. We provide “life-long” education and services for preparing, taking exam, applying, studying and career development abroad. 2009年冬天，尚友网在美国独立宣言诞生地费城—沃顿商学院常青藤缠绕的百年校园内创立。
