Job Responsibility:
NPI product owner – 80%
●Collaborate with the R&D team from the early development stage to fully understthe electrical design test requirements of new products provide PCBA manufacturability assessments test coverage proposals.
●Support the design team in new board bring-up, as well as FPGA firmware quick verification to accelerate product development cycles.
●Define the manufacturing test plan fPCBA, drive the implementation of ICT, FCT, other test processes at PCBA manufacturing sites, provide necessary performance review analysis to ensure compliance with design requirements quality standards.
●In collaboration with the design team, define manufacturing test items Pass/Fail criteria from an electrical/hardware perspective foptical electrical layer modules, line cards, integrated line system boxes.
●Partner with the test development team to execute electrical-related test procedures, validate test methods, analyze test results, which may include functional testing, BER testing, system link testing, sanity testing, environmental stress testing, etc.
●Lead the diagnosis of product electrical failures, including defining, analyzing, validating issues, tracking improvements resolutions to ensure the production yield meets target requirements.
Mass / transfer product support – 10%
●Provide technical support ffactory mass production, including product knowledge transfer, process know-how sharing, test coverage optimization.
●Review the correlation of test bench expansion drive yield improvement initiatives.
●Support the proposal, verification, implementation of cost reduction projects.
●release manufacturing-related documents such as BOMs.
Customer focus – 10%
●Provide timely responses technical support fRMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) of both NPI mass-produced products.
●Collect provide manufacturing processes, product, component build history data to the R&D team customers when requested.
Job Requirements:
●Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Telecommunication, an equivalent technical discipline from an accredited college university is required; master’s degree is preferred.
●Minimum 3 years of working experience in the telecom products related industry within a globalganization.
●Familiar with analog digital circuit technologies semiconducttechnologies, with hands-on experience in debugging I2C, SPI, PCIe bus protocols.
●Proficient in using test tools such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, communication test instruments (e.g., VIAVI, EXFO, Spirent) to independently complete diagnostic tasks.
●Familiarity with the electrical/hardware architecture of communication product control systems is a plus; experience in electrical design testing is also desirable.
●Knowledge of Ethernet OTN protocols, with the ability to configure test equipment using these protocols.
●Demonstrated strong problem analysis resolution capabilities, with a data-driven approach to troubleshooting.
●Excellent teamwork communication skills, with the ability to collaborate closely with R&D production teams to achieve business objectives.
