Strong Studios是德国莫尔建筑师事务所、Arquitectonica事务所的帕特莫尔女士在1997年自发组成照明研究小组，其成员通过义务设计帮助建筑业主、企业主完成一些和照明有关的课题和任务，在2006年随着香港业务和中国内陆业务的增多，该小组一部分设计师转向照明设计方面的研究和探讨，并在2010年香港成立设计公司并相互独立运作。11年在北京、深圳、上海由当地照明设计团队组成思创照明设计顾问公司为国内客户提供照明设计和技术顾问方面的专业服务。
