四川省广元外国语学校是由上海新纪元教育集团投资1.2亿元创办的一所集小学、初中和高中于一体的十二年一贯制全寄宿学校，地处广元城东教育园区，占地260亩，建筑面积10万平方米。学校于2002年8月奠基动工，2003年8月底开校，历经八年创业，现已达到92个教学班，学生4700余人，教职员工440余人，其中专任教师253人，中、高级职称教师占教师数的65%，拥有特级教师2人，省级骨干教师1人，市名教师2人，市级骨干教师、学科带头人、班主任带头人78人，县（区）级以上骨干教师、教坛新秀、优秀班主任占教师总数的80%。
